Description

At TM Ballroom Dance, we strive to create the best environment for learning to dance. All of our dance teachers are dedicated and experienced. Our main purpose is to help you reach your goals while having fun in the process. We understand that each student has their own unique journey to becoming a good dancer. We take the time to get to know you and understand your personal dance goals. Then we tailor each and every lesson to maximize your learning potential and unleash the dancer in you!

Studio Policies

Private Lessons

  • The Introductory Lesson only applies to new students who have never taken a private or group dance lesson at any studio in the last 10 years, who are not preparing for a wedding

  • Lessons will begin at the scheduled lesson time

    • If the student is late, any missed time is forfeited

    • If the instructor is late, they will make up any missed time (possibly at a future date)

  • A Private Lesson is for a single or a couple with one instructor. If a lesson has more than two-students, it will be considered a Semi-Private lesson. Ask the Manger to find out more information about Semi-Private Lessons

  • Studio space is shared during Private Lessons and you are NOT guaranteed a private room. If you are interested in having private studio time, please ask for rental rates

Wedding Lessons

  • Wedding Lessons include choreography to your comfort level, music editing to the best of our abilities, one free social dance party to perform your first dance, and special wedding expertise from the instructor

  • No refunds will be given for any individual lwedding lessons that were paid for in advanced

Cancellations/ Rescheduling

  • We discourage cancelling lessons. It is always best to reschedule a lesson you are unable to attend

  • We will accept cancellations/reschedules via phone call, voice call, email, or text message*

    • Contact with the Studio Manager must be made to confirm Cancellation/Rescheduling

  • Student must contact the studio to cancel at least 24 hours prior to their scheduled lesson to avoid being charged

  • If you reschedule more than once in a calendar week, you will be charged one lesson

  • You will have a primary instructor.

    • If, for some reason, your primary instructor cannot make the lesson, you may have that scheduled lesson with a substitute instructor (whether they be male or female)

    • If you choose to cancel the scheduled lesson with the substitute instructor, you will be charged for your lesson

  • If you are able to reschedule your lesson for a later time in the week, either with your primary or substitute instructor, you can avoid cancellation charge

  • You may pay for one lesson at a time: payment is due at the time of scheduling

  • A late fee of $10 will be charged to any individual lesson not paid for at the time of scheduling

  • All packages must be paid in full prior to the first lesson of the package

  • Any lesson scheduled that has not been paid for will be considered tentative and can be cancelled at any time by TM Ballroom Staff

  • No refunds will be given for any individual lessons that were paid for in advanced

Payment Policy

  • If you purchase a package of lessons, you must take a minimum of 2 private lessons per calendar month

  • If you do not use the minimum of 2 private lessons, you will be charged for all unused lessons

  • You may put your lessons on hold by providing TM Ballroom Dance Studio with a written letter including the date you want to return

  • Lessons may only be put on hold for a maximum of 30 days, after that time, we will require another letter or the studio may refund the balance of your lessons

  • In a case of a refund, you will be charged full price for all lessons used and service provided and refunded the appropriate balance

Package Specials

  • We offer standing appointment time slots for scheduling convenience

  • Simply inform your instructor about setting up a Standing Appointment

  • You may lose you time slot if you cancel a Standing Appointment more than 3 times

Standing Appointments

  • Payment is due either prior to the Group Class or Party or before the Group Class or Party is attended (If you Drop In)

    If the student is late, they will be charged full price for the class, the teacher will not change the lesson plan to catch the student up with the class

  • The class/party may be cancelled if fewer than 8 attend. Please be diligent about signing up for our Group Classes ahead of time

  • It’s always a good idea to double check the website’s calendar to confirm whether the group class/party is still scheduled or if it has been cancelled

    • Many times, cancellations or changes in the scheduled will be posted there

      If you cannot find the info, contact the studio through email or phone call

  • There is no dress code (unless otherwise stated). Proper hygiene is appreciated

  • The Punch Card is valid for a 12 week time period
