The Fundamentals Series - Bronze Tango Class 5

  • TM Ballroom Dance Studio 12354 W Alameda Pkwy #170 Lakewood, CO, 80228 United States (map)

Tango fundamentals group classes are typically for beginner to intermediate level dancers who want to learn or improve their basic tango technique, including posture, balance, footwork, and the embrace. Classes would usually start with a warm-up followed by exercises that focus on individual technique before moving on to partner work.

In partner work, students may learn basic tango figures and how to execute them with proper technique, musicality, and connection. Leaders will learn how to lead, while followers learn how to follow, and both will learn how to communicate through the embrace and body language. The teacher will often rotate partners during the class, which helps students to develop better dancing skills with different partners.

Overall, tango fundamentals group classes are a great way to start learning American style Tango, meet new people, and develop skills that will be useful in future tango classes or social dancing events.
